Your relationship with your daughter shapes her life.
Daughters can feel misunderstood by their mothers. We know you're on her side.
As a mother, you might feel like raising a teenage daughter is tougher than ever before. In today’s fast-changing world, girls encounter a set of pressures and difficulties that are unique from those in the past. Mothers are some of the closest witnesses to these challenges and have the unique opportunity to empathize and empower their daughters. Girls carry a unique impression of mothers deep inside which impacts how they think of themselves in the world.
We are three professionals who specialize in child development and are deeply committed to assisting mothers like you in navigating the complexities of guiding your teenage daughters. Drawing from our backgrounds in psychotherapy, neuroscience, and education research, we’re here to offer you practical advice and valuable insights. We’re here to support you. We know you’re on her side.
our approach
At On Her Side, our mission is to provide mothers like you with wisdom, guidance, and insight. We share a passion for supporting resilience in girls drawing upon our expertise in neuroscience, counseling, and education research. We asked dozens of young women to reflect back on their lives. They shared personal stories about peer relationships, school, social media, sexuality, body image, and anxiety. Mothers mattered in their lives. We utilize these stories and our collective expertise to provide you with direction, validation, and the support you need to raise healthy, thriving daughters. Our approach is enriched by the voices of women and girls, ensuring you're well-equipped for this meaningful journey.
